About Pneu-Mech Paint Facilities
PMPF is a joint venture between Pneu-Mech Systems located in Statesville, N.C. and Paint Facilities Engineering, Inc in Clarkston, Michigan. PMPF will be located in Claremont, NC.
Pneu-Mech Systems was established in 1991 by a management group of six individuals who had worked together in the industrial sheet metal fabrication business since 1973. Originally, this group was involved in air filtration systems, but branched into finishing systems for the furniture industry in 1980. Since that time, and upon the founding of Pneu-Mech Systems, we have directed our manufacturing/sales efforts strictly towards finishing systems equipment (both liquid and powder) for metal, wood and composite materials for all industries. With over 75 team specialists at our North Carolina facility, and utilizing a carefully selected group of sub-contractors for electrical and mechanical, we are capable of completing "turn-key" projects of most any size. Yet, we are small enough to adapt to changes and can service the small projects of our clients, also. We are a custom manufacturer that builds systems to fit the needs of our customers, and our philosophy is "To sell our clients not only our equipment, but our knowledge." This enables the end users of our equipment to produce both profits and a quality finish.
Paint Facilities Engineering was established in 2001. Their expertise is in automotive and industrial paint finishing engineering, design and project management services. Their target customers are automotive manufacturers, Tier 1 automotive suppliers, heavy truck manufacturers, heavy equipment manufacturers and general industry manufacturers. The PFE team has over 75 years combined experience in automotive and industrial paint finishing with extensive international experience including South America, Europe and Asia. They have been involved in the design and construction of over 50 major paint facilities and have participated in project execution programs in excess of 2 billion dollars. Individuals on the PFE team have been granted more than 20 process and equipment patents in U.S. and Europe and have managed research and product development activities for paint application and paint finishing product lines.
